Legal Document Courier Services

Purpose:
To ensure timely, professional, and confidential delivery of all court filings while honoring the value of time-sensitive services.

1. Rush & Emergency Definition

A request qualifies as Rush or Emergency Service if:

• Documents are received after 12:00 p.m. PST for same-day or next-day filing, or
• Delivery must occur before the courthouse closes, typically 4:00 p.m. PST, or
• The client is located outside California and requires coordination or confirmation the same day.

 2. Rush Service Rates 

    Service Turnaround Base Fee:

•  Standard Filing 48 hrs. $150  
•  Priority Filing Next Business Day by Noon $250  
•  Emergency Filing Same Day Before Noon $350  
•  After-Hours / Weekend Request After 4 p.m. M–F or Weekends +$75 Surcharge  

Additional Charges:

• Printing over 25 pages → $1.50 per page B/W | $2.50 per page Color
• 3-Hole Punch / Binder Prep → $20 (1–50 pgs.), $40 (51–100 pgs.)
• Out-of-State Coordination Fee → $50 flat
• Parking / Tolls → Actual Cost

3. Cut-Off Times

• Documents must be received by 2:30 p.m. PST for guaranteed same-day filing.
• Requests after 2:30 p.m. PST may roll over to next-day Priority Filing unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
• Payment confirmation is required before pickup or print release.

4. Proof & Confirmation

• All filings receive a timestamped clerk-stamped copy via email.
• Courier provides GPS delivery log or declaration of filing attempt upon request.
• Originals returned per California Business & Professions Code § 6413(d):
   “All documents, original or copies, shall be returned to the client upon completion of services and shall not be retained longer than necessary to complete the specific transaction.”
• Documents securely destroyed within 72 hours of client delivery confirmation.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations within 2 hours of scheduled delivery are non-refundable.
• Rescheduling within 24 hours of a missed deadline → +$50 resubmit fee.
